5 out of 5 stars Great watch...   March 27, 2008
This is a nice watch. Bought it mostly for working out, but found myself wearing it all day because it's so comfortable. I barely even know I'm wearing it, it's so light, yet sturdy, and the band breathability is incredible.
The iPod control is surprisingly useful and dependable. There is a slight delay when using it, but that's because some of the iPod buttons double as watch controls which you have to hold down to use.
One caveat... this is a fairly small, sleek watch. It almost looked like a ladies' watch when I first opened it up, as I'm used to beefier watches like the G-shock and such (it's tagged as unisex). I have since gotten used to it, though. Not a big deal, but something to pay attention to if you need something a bit "manlier". All-in-all a good buy for the money.

5 out of 5 stars A great invention   February 27, 2008

I bought one of these for my wife for Christmas. She skis a lot and it is inconvenient to reach into her pocket to work the Ipod controls. This watch is a great solution and she uses it also when she runs. The Amazon price was very good and really gets a lot of use. Great idea!

5 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed   February 13, 2008

This purchase was a no brainer for me since I needed to replace my old Timex Ironman watch anyway and was also coincidentally looking for a remote for my ipod nano. The controls are a bit rudimentary, but accomplish what I need them to do - mostly I listen to audiobooks or podcasts while running/cycling and wanted an easy way to pause playback or increase/decrease volume. The remote function is better than I expected, but sometimes I need to press 2-3 times to get a response from the ipod. Also, the buttons are a bit small and stiff, but no more so than is usual on this type of sport watch. I was a bit concerned after looking at the photos that the band might be flimsy, but after wearing it for several weeks, the band is one of my favorite features. It is plenty sturdy, but also allows more air circulation than a standard plastic band.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

5 out of 5 stars Using with the iPod Touch   January 6, 2008

Since I am a techno-geek, the more gadgets the better. When I upgraded from the "nano" to the "Touch," it meant that I would have to unlock the Touch screen in order to change volume, skip to the next song or pause playing. With this I can merely go to my watch and do those things without having to move the Touch from where it is. Since I exercise regularly, this is great since it means I don't have to take the iPod from my pocket or its holster to do those things.

In addition, the watch has those functions that people who exercise like. Namely, a chronometer, timers with lap functionality. And the plus is that the alarm is loud enough to awaken me in the morning.

This watch was purchased for a runner and an iPod user. It was well-received by the recipient. It was a great price, too.
